NFHS Volunteers Needed for BandBeat Saturday November 6

 

Nation Ford High School Band will be responsible for working concessions for the BandBeat Competition being held at Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, NC on Saturday, November 6th. This is an outstanding and generous one-day fundraiser offered to us by Carolina Crown, and we need everyone’s support, students and parents alike, to make it a success! Gardner-Webb’s stadium is a beautiful venue. The college is looking forward to hosting us and ensuring our work there is a positive experience. Please note:  the NFHS Band will NOT be performing at this event.

 

There are 3 shifts available: 7:30am-12pm; 12pm-5pm; 5pm-close (approx. 10-11pm). We’ll need approximately the following number of workers per shift:

10-12 - stand workers

5-8 - cooks

12-15 - food prep workers and runners (preferably students)

27-35 - Volunteers needed per shift

 

To volunteer, please email Linda Tennant at LTennant@yorktech.edu or Julie Howren at JBHowren@gmail.com by Monday, November 1st and specify the shift you’d like to work. Please check the band website for an updated listing of volunteers by shift so that carpools may be arranged.
