Fort Mill District Bands Earn 1-2 Finish At Upper State Championships
The high school bands from the Fort Mill School District continued their success this marching band season at the SCBDA 3A Upper State Marching Band Championships held Saturday, October 23 at James F. Byrnes High School in Duncan, South Carolina. The Fort Mill High School Band earned 1st place while Nation Ford High School Band earned 2nd place.
Because of their placement at the Upper State Championships, both bands will perform next Saturday night, October 30, at the 3A SCBDA Marching Band Championships held at Batesburg-Leesville High School in Batesburg, South Carolina (near Columbia). Performance times will be announced later in the week.
