NFHS & FMHS Earn 4th Place Finishes
Both high school bands traveled to regional competitions this past Saturday October 16. The Nation Ford HS Band earned 4th place at the Tournament of Champions competition at Western Carolina University while the Fort Mill HS Band earned 4th place (including best overall visual) at the Bands of America (BOA) Regional in Akron, Ohio.
Both bands now are setting their sights on the South Carolina State Marching Competitions. Both bands will head to the 3A SCBDA Marching Band Championships on Saturday October 23 at James F. Byrnes High School in Duncan, SC with Fort Mill HS taking the field at 1:15 pm and Nation Ford HS taking the field at 2:15 pm; awards are at 5:30 pm.
