Verizon & Panthers - 3 Events This Week

We have another challenging weekend ahead of us and we need a lot of help still.

Friday August 27    HELP DESPERATELY NEEDED FRIDAY!!!

This Friday is busy with two home football games as well as a Verizon concert that starts in the early afternoon. It is the Brad Paisley concert and prep time begins at 2:00 with gates opening AND concert starting at 4:00!  It is workday and a school day and we are going to be stretched to get enough afternoon help. If you are a stay-at-home parent or someone with a flexible work schedule, we really NEED you. If you are also TIPS trained, we REALLY NEED you!! Even if you can work from 2-6:00 until others can arrive after work, every hour and volunteer is appreciated. Please go to the website at www.fortmillband.com, click the Verizon Schedule in the left pane, scroll down to the Brad Paisley concert and click the “8/27 Volunteer” button to send an email that will notify us. Please include your arrival time in your message. PLEASE PARK AT THE SCHOOL AND NOT IN LOT F!!!

Saturday August 28 Verizon concert AND Panthers’ pre-season game

We have another double-event evening Saturday. Please check your schedules and sign up to work this game. Follow the same link as above, but click on Panthers Schedule instead and then use the “8/28 Volunteer” button. Students need to be at least 15 years old and show proof of age when checking in. Please include student’s month and year of birth in the ‘Additional Information’ section when you are signing up. Prep starts at 4:00, gates at 6:00 and kick-off at 8:00.

Verizon needs – the KISS concert is expected to be busy and we need 23 TIPS trained workers for this night. Prep time begins at 3:30, gates at 5:30 and concert at 6:30.

I will send carpool email with dress-code reminders later in the week when we have a complete list of workers for each event.  If you have questions, you can email me at peggyse@comporium.net, Michele at mchenderson@comporium.net or Vicki at niedermeier@comporium.net.

Thank you SO much for your involvement and positive attitudes.  It is a busy time of year for all of us, but each event we work benefits our children’s music program and experience!  Let’s keep it going strong!
