The Nation Ford High School Band will be recognized for their 2009 state marching band championship at this Monday's Fort Mill School District Board Meeting. The meeting will be held at the Nation Ford High School Auditorium on Monday, February 22 at 6:00 pm. Monday, February 22 are also the monthly booster club meetings for both high schools in their respective band rooms starting at 7:30 pm.

 

On Tuesday, February 23, the Fort Mill High School Band will perform a concert at 7:30 pm in the Fort Mill HS Auditorium.

 

Several students from both high schools and the middle schools will perform at the Charlotte Symphony Youth Orchestra (CSYO) and Junior Youth Orchestra (JYO) Youth Festival Concert Wednesday, February 24. The concert will be held at Ovens Auditorium in Charlotte, NC and will begin at 7:30 pm. Region Band weekend is here!!! On Friday and Saturday, February 26 and 27, the Region Band Clinic will be held at Nation Ford HS concluding with the concerts on Saturday evening. The Alternate Band will take the stage at 3:15 pm with the Region Bands performing at 4:15 pm on Saturday, February 27 in the Nation Ford HS Auditorium. Students from both high schools will also travel to the Greenville area this weekend to participate in the 2010 All-State Orchestra Clinic from Friday thru Sunday, February 26 thru February 28. Their concerts are scheduled for Sunday, February 28 starting at 2 pm at McAlister Auditorium (Furman University). Lastly, the 2010 Charlotte Youth Wind Ensemble (CYWE) will perform their second of three concerts on Monday March 1. The performance will begin at 7:30 pm and will be held at Jay M.
