One School District, Two HS Bands, Two State Titles
The bands from the Fort Mill School District continued the tradition of excellence this past weekend.
Congratulations to both the Fort Mill High School and Nation Ford High School band programs for bringing home the 2009 SC State Marching Band Titles in Class 4A and 3A respectively. This is the 22nd state title the Fort Mill HS band program and the first state title for the Nation Ford HS band program in only 3 years of existence - 23 titles combined. Just amazing!!!
Nation Ford HS will now be gearing up for a trip to Indianapolis, Indiana for the Bands of America Grand Nationals the second week of November.
