Citipass - Fort Mill HS
Band Fundraiser

The FMHS CITIPASS Deadline has been EXTENDED thru Friday, September 18!!!
As of Monday night September 14th, we have sold 260 Citipass books. At this point, students will receive $6 (3 points) toward their student's account for each book they sell. If we sell 300 books, the student portion per book increases to $8 (4 points) and the band receives $4.50 per book. Points will be posted to student accounts during the week of September 20th. Students may continue to place their orders in the Citipass box located in the band room through Friday afternoon, September 18th. Students may pick up their orders at the end of band practice on Thursday evening and on Saturday (at 3pm) in the band room. The 2010 Citipass books may also be purchased before and after the Saturday night Fort Mill Preview. Look for the Citipass table inside the stadium by the entrance. Cash and checks are cheerfully accepted!!
So please keep on selling these great books! Please contact Michele Henderson at 803-417-9210 or couponbooks@comporium.net if you have questions. For more information, click on the Citipass logo located at the bottom of the directory panel (left side) of the band web page (www.fortmillbands.com).
Are you looking for way to pay down your student’s band fees without writing a check?
How about selling 2010 Citipass Books? For every book your family sells, you could earn up to 4 points or $8 toward your student’s band fees! If your family sells five books, you receive a free book for your family’s use. If you order and pay now, you may receive a 2009 Citipass book for free! What a deal!
What do you have to do?
We have sent home an envelope to all Fort Mill High School Marching Band Students containing a letter to your family and a 2009 Citipass book. Use the 2009 Citipass book to show your friends, families, and neighbors the bargains that are included in the Citipass book. When someone orders a 2010 book, collect their cash or check (made payable to FMDBBC). Record the following information on the front of the envelope: your customers’ names, addresses and phone numbers, the number of books ordered, and the total amount they paid you. Place the envelope in the Citipass box in the FMHS Band Room by Mr. Pruitt’s office. Beginning the week of August 17th, Michele Henderson will give your student the 2010 books sold by your family. You should then deliver the books to your customers. To see the information letter that was distributed, please follow this link - Citipass Information Letter (will open PDF file in new window).
What about the 2009 Citipass Books?
The students will also be given the free 2009 Citipass books for your customers as long as the supply lasts. The 2009 Citipass book that went home with your student on Tuesday, should be given to your first customer who paid you.
How do you get your free books?
During the last week of August, we will deliver the free 2010 Citipass book for every five books sold by a family. We will also total the points earned and report them to our executive secretary so they can be automatically deducted from any outstanding band fee balances. As always, points may also be donated to any other student.
Can the books be ordered on-line?
Absolutely! Go to the band web page (www.fortmillbands.com) and click on the "Citipass" button on left side or click here - Order Citipass. The link will take you to the page where you can send an email to Michele Henderson to place Citipass orders.
Do you have to participate?
No, you don’t have to sell the books. The books are a way to help offset your band fees in a poor economy. However, in order to get the maximum benefit from this fundraiser, we have to sell at least 300 books in order to give each student $8 per book. An additional $4.50 per book belongs to the FMHS Band. If you decide not to sell the books, please return the envelope containing the 2009 book to the Citipass box in the FMHS Band Room.
Are there other ways for me to earn points to reduce your student’s fee balance?
We always need help at Verizon, our major fund raiser. We also will be announcing another opportunities that do not require you to be TIPS trained! Be sure to read all of your emails from the FMHS Band!!!
