WE STILL NEED WINDOW HELP (TIPS TRAINED) FOR ALL CONCERTS!!!

 

First of all, a huge thanks to everyone who has helped make this Verizon season such a huge success. Not only have we raised a significant amount of money to help offset everyone's band expenses, we have actually all managed to have a pretty good time doing it.

 

Our volunteers play a very instrumental role in helping the students achieve their goals - ‘Being the Best They Can Be’!!! It is truly amazing how we have two high school bands that continue the “tradition of excellence” the bands from the Fort Mill School District are known for - and two booster clubs that work together on common goals. Not only do we have a great band staff in all of the schools in the Fort Mill School District but we have excellent support by the band parents that enables the band directors, assistants and outside staff to focus on our children while we, the band parent, help keep the band machine running.

 

But we can't relax just yet – MANY MORE CONCERTS TO GO!!!

 

AND IT IS CRUNCH TIME!!! Not only do we have the challenge of concerts being cancelled and attendance being down at Verizon, we will now start to conflict with summer practices. Our next four concerts is the time for us to make up the planned income gap due to those cancelled concerts. Please note the setup/prep and gate times below since they are not the normal times - we are required to have our stands ready for customers including windows fully staffed by the time gates are opened.

 

Upcoming concert details -

• Sunday, July 26th - Kid Rock - Setup/Prep begins at 3:00 pm, Gates at 5:00 pm, Concert at 6:30 pm - Parking is in Lot F.

NEED A MINIMUM OF 8 MORE WINDOW (TIPS TRAINED) HELP!!! If history repeats itself, Kid Rock will generate large sales very similar to a sellout crowd - just another opportunity to generate income.

• Friday, July 31st - Nickelback - Setup/Prep begins at 2:30 pm, Gates at 4:30 pm, Concert at 6:00 pm - Parking is at the school lot.

NEED A MINIMUM OF 9 MORE WINDOW (TIPS TRAINED) HELP!!! SOLD OUT CONCERT - need we say more. This is a great opportunity for volunteers that can't work during the week since this is a Friday night concert.

• Saturday, August 1st - Rascal Flatts - Setup/Prep begins at 5:00 pm, Gates at 7:00 pm, Concert at 8:00 pm - Parking is in Lot F.

Other Information -

• ARAMARK Clothing Policy - NO JEANS of any type are permitted to be worn by non-profit organization group members working at this facility. There are NO EXCEPTIONS. The clothing policy is simple - Blue, Black or Kaki pants or shorts. Any future violations will result in the removal of the member from the concession stand.

• You must be 16 years of age or older to work at Verizon.

• Please wear closed-toed shoes (no sandals).

• TIPS training is required to work a window but we have other jobs available.
