On Saturday, June 27, the band club will be catering a summer picnic event for Bowater as a fundraising event. Our responsibilities include cooking and serving food for Bowater and of course cleanup after the event. The picnic will be held at Lake Wylie Park off of Mount Gallant Road in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

We will need at least 16 people to assist - 8 can be students. Food will be served from 4 pm until 8 pm with setup/cooking beginning at 2:30 pm and cleanup running until about 9 pm.

This is a great opportunity to not only help a local business that has supported the band program over the years but will allow us to earn a little more money to help support the students achieve their 2009-2010 goals.
