Planning Meeting at Nation Ford HS - Wednesday, April 29th at 7 pm - ALL VOLUNTEERS ARE WELCOME!!!
The City of Fort Mill will be conducting SpringFest again this year at Walter Elisha Park in downtown Fort Mill on Saturday, May 2nd. The Fort Mill District Band Booster Club will be not only be selling chicken wings, fried pickles and fried okra like last year but will have a second tent selling fried desserts - funnel cakes, Twinkies, Oreos, etc. for the event.
What do we need from you? We are looking for volunteers to assist throughout the day - Saturday, May 2nd - from 7 am until 11 pm - in two hour shifts. We basically need a minimum of 14 workers manning the tents throughout the entire day. Here is what we need -
7 am until 9 am - Minimum of 4 people for setup (can be a mix of students and adults)
8 am until 10 pm - Minimum of 14 people for run the tents. Roles needed per tent - 2 Cooks (must be adults), 2 Cook Helpers (can be a mix of students and adults), 2 Sellers (can be mix of students and adults) and 1 runner (must be adult)
9 pm until 11 pm - Minimum of 4 people for setup (can be a mix of students and adults)
If you can spare two hours - or more - to not only help support the band students from both high schools but the community as well, please contact Susan Longfield via email (click name) - make sure to include your name and what two hour slot you can assist with and if you have a role preference - no guarantee that will be the role you will fill.
