Thanks to everyone who played a part in this past weekend's successful Spring Fundraiser - combined Oyster Roast, BBQ and Silent Auction - that benefitted both the Nation Ford High School Band and the Fort Mill High School Band. Despite the cool and damp weather, everyone left the event with a smile and full belly knowing they also helped support the band students of the Fort Mill School District. And maybe we helped you find a new friend, have a good laugh and forgot all that is going on in your day to day lives for at least a few minutes.

A special thanks to the following 4 people that helped lead this event - Jamie Medlin (founder of the event), Michelle Henderson, Susan Longfield and Julianne Best. We know it takes an army of volunteers to get things done but it takes a few folks to lead and coordinate the volunteers to make it successful. It was great to see the four of them team together for a common cause leveraging all of our combined booster club's resources to make it a successful event.

Lastly, thanks to all that either purchased a ticket or donated something for the silent auction. It's people and businesses like you that make not only Fort Mill a great place to live but helps provide support to the students that keeps the music programs alive and well in our community.
