The all-state orchestra is scheduled for this coming weekend Friday thru Sunday, February 27th thru March 1st at Dorman High School in Roebuck, SC and Converse College in Spartanburg, SC. The concert will be held on Sunday, March 1st at Twichell Auditorium on the campus of Converse College at 2 pm.

2009 All State Orchestra Tentative Schedule: February 27- March 1

All Friday and Saturday rehearsals will be held at Dorman High School.

Sunday Concert and Dress Rehearsal will be held at Twichell Auditorium on the Converse College Campus

• Friday, February 27th at Dorman High School

  • 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm Registration at Dorman High School Wing B Entrance - look for signs as you enter the campus

  • 6:00 pm – 7:45 pm Rehearsals

  • 7:45 pm – 8:00 pm Break

  • 8:00 pm – 9:15 pm Rehearsal

  • 9:15 pm – 9:30 pm Announcements/Dismissal

• Saturday, February 28th at Dorman High School

  • 9:00 am – 12:15 pm Rehearsals/Sectionals (break 10:30 am -10:45 am)

  • 12:15 pm – 1:15 pm Lunch in DHS Cafeteria (due to distance from majority of local fast food)

  • 1:15 pm – 3:30 pm Rehearsal

  • 3:30 pm – 3:45 pm Break

  • 3:45 pm –  5:00 pm Rehearsal

  • 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Dinner

  • 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm Rehearsal

  • 8:00 pm – 9:30 pm Social

• Sunday, March 1st at Twichell Auditorium (Converse College)

  • 8:15 am – 9:15 am Jr. Rehearsal (6-8)

  • 9:30 am – 10:45 am Sr. Rehearsal (9-10)
