The Fort Mill District Band Booster Club will be hosting the 2009 region band clinic on Friday and Saturday, February 27th and 28th at the Fort Mill High School. The Fort Mill District Band Booster Club will be responsible for providing:

• hospitality to the visiting band directors

• assistance/aid to the visiting clinicians and students

• equipment room set-up (Thursday evening) and take-down (Saturday afternoon/evening)

• small concession stand (just selling pre-packaged candy, chips, soda, etc. - no cooking) throughout the two day event

• t-shirt sales

How can you help?

• Volunteers are needed for various roles during the following time periods. Just let us know who you are and what day/time period(s) you are available.

  • Thursday 2/26 - 4 pm until 7 pm (room setup)

  • Friday 2/27 - 7:30 am until 6:30 pm (parking, concessions)

  • Saturday 2/28 - 8 am until 7:30 pm (concessions, t-shirt sales, room cleanup)

• Donations of soda, diet soda, Gatorade and water - individual servings and no liter bottles. Please drop off in the respective band rooms with a note stating FOR REGION BAND.

• A few volunteers and donations for the hospitality room are still needed - snacks, vegetable trays, finger food, breakfast foods, casseroles, anything in a crock pot, etc. Please contact Julie Howren to assist with hospitality.

Son or daughter participating in region band? Yes, you can still help on Thursday or Friday and even on Saturday helping clean up the rooms while you wait for your son or daughter to perform. Son or daughter not participating in region band? Have them come out and help sell concessions or help with setup/cleanup or you can come out and work the concession area while other parents are watching their student perform.
