As the marching competition portion of the year closes, on behalf of the students and band directors, thanks to all that volunteered their time in support of the band program and students. Whether it was chaperoning, serving food, working on uniforms/flags or pushing & loading equipment, you all have had a very instrumental role in helping the students achieve their goals this fall by ‘Being the Best They Can Be’!!!

It is amazing how one high school band has split to create two high school bands while continuing that “tradition of excellence” the bands from the Fort Mill School District are known for. Not only do we have a great band staff in all of the schools in the Fort Mill School District but we have excellent support by the band parents that enables the band directors, assistants and outside staff to focus on our children while we, the band parent, help keep the band machine running.

Band doesn't end after the marching season - Football Games, EOY Marching Party, Winter Guard, Percussion Ensemble, Concert Band (Winter Concert, Spring Concert, State Concert Festival), Region & All-State Band, Solo & Ensemble, Graduation, Seniors, Oyster Roast, Fruit Sale, Spring fundraiser, etc. - so please stay involved with the band program by supporting your student thru the rest of the school year.
