We are trying something different this year. We will be putting together a marching season review for each of the two high schools. The review will include information about each school’s program, the results of competitions, and lots of pictures of the kids. The review will cost no more than $10 per copy. We are working to have it ready for the December concerts.

 

PICTURES:

During the season, in addition to volunteering, a lot of you were also busy taking pictures of the kids. If you have any pictures that the kids would enjoy, please send them to Michele (email below) electronically or send her the link were she may obtain a copy the picture (for free!). Please include the names of the kids in the pictures. We need the pictures by Monday, November 10, 2008.

 

MARCHING SEASON CONGRATULATIONS:

As you know, we did not create a program with advertisements for the York County Band Exhibition this past September. If you submitted and paid for a York County Band Exhibition personal ad, we will include it in the new review. If you wish, you may send in a revised personal ad. If you didn’t submit and pay for an Exhibition personal ad and would like to place one in the new review, create one and send it to Michele Henderson at (hendersm@queens.edu). If you cannot submit the ad electronically, please call Michele at 803-417-9210 to make arrangements for getting the ad to her. Please let Michele know if you are placing an personal ad and how you will be submitting your payment.

 

Payments for the ads should be sent to the following - FM District Band Booster Club, P.O. Box 611, Fort Mill, SC  29716. You may also place your payment in the mailbox just inside your band director’s office. The deadline is Monday, November 10, 2008.

 

The cost of the personal ads are - updated 10/29 - :

• 1/4 of a page - $15

• 1/2 of a page - $25

• Full page - $45
