Congratulations to both the Fort Mill HS and Nation Ford HS band programs for very successful performances last Saturday, October 11th.

The Nation Ford High School band earned a 3rd place finish in Class AA Prelims and a 7th place finish overall in finals at the Western Carolina competitions in Cullowhee, North Carolina hosted by Western Carolina University. They will head to the 3A SC Upper State Championships at Clinton High School in Clinton, South Carolina this Saturday, October 18th. The band will perform at 1:15 pm with awards at 5:15 pm. The Fort Mill High School band earned 3rd place in Class AAAA and 3rd place overall at the Tournament of Bands competition at Blythewood High School in Blythewood, South Carolina. They will head to the 4A SC Upper State Championships at Boiling Springs HS in Boiling Springs, South Carolina this Saturday, October 18th and will perform at 3:00 pm with awards at 4:15 pm. The students have been working extremely hard this week improving everyday. This past weekend was the last "competition tune-up" for both bands before the SC Marching Band Upper State Championships scheduled for this Saturday, October 18th.
