Are you interested in making a difference? Want to assist the students and band directors by assisting them with their objectives, goals and success? Believe it or not, it is not too early to start thinking about nominations for both high school band boards for the 2008-2009 year. Nominations are now open for any of the following positions of President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer or one of the 4 At-Large positions.

Leading the nominating committees are -

• Fort Mill HS - Ray Tyler and Vicki Church

• Nation Ford HS - Jamie Medlin and Susan Longfield

Timeline of nomination and election process –

• January thru February – Nominating committee formed for both high schools consisting of the Band Director, 2 current board members and 2 booster club members  WE STILL NEED HELP ON THE COMMITTEE!!!

• February thru April – Nominations accepted

• March Booster Meeting (3/31) – Nominating committee presents slate of candidates. Note – Nominations are not closed and remain open until elections

• April Booster Meeting (4/28) – Elections

• June 1st – Newly elected board members assume office
