The Fort Mill District Band Booster Club spring fundraiser event – oyster roast and silent auction - is scheduled for Saturday, March 1^st at the Greenway Field Trial Barn. It is now time to start soliciting (or donating) items for the silent auction. We are requesting as many "desirable" items as we can get.

Some ideas are:

• Gift certificates to local restaurants
• Tickets to pro or college sporting events
• TV's or appliances
• A weekend get away at a hotel or someone's beach or mountain home/condo
• Certificates for rounds of golf
• A day at a spa
• Gift baskets
• ETC….. Just think about things you would like to get a bargain on

We would like to offer things that people WANT or NEED but we need the booster club members help to get out and start asking local merchants and business owners for their donations. It's a tough job, but the worse thing someone can do is say “No”. This is a great opportunity to raise money for the band programs of both high schools.
