This past weekend, several students from both high schools were invited to participate and tryout for a position in two symphonic bands as part of the Winthrop Invitational Band Clinic. This event invites students from SC, NC and GA based upon nominations from their respective band directors. A tryout takes place Friday morning with rehearsals the rest of the day on Friday and all day Saturday concluding with a concert Saturday evening. Congratulations to the following students for not only trying out for a position but earning a spot in the top symphonic band for the weekend.
