The FMHS marching band earned a 2nd place finish at this past weekend's 2007 Tournament of Bands at Blythewood HS in Blythewood, South Carolina. A total of 26 bands participated in the day long event with Fort Mill taking 2nd place overall behind Rock Hill (5A school) including placing higher than all other SC 4A and 5A classified schools. FMHS won best percussion, best color guard and best visual performance in its class while earning another Superior rating.
