Thanks to all that volunteered at this past weekend’s Bands of America Fall Preview Experience. Running an event that supports 21 bands is not easy work but despite the heat and the challenges that come up during any event of this size, our volunteers from the Fort Mill HS, Nation Ford HS and Winthrop University consistently delivered and made this another successful event. As stated last week, it is great to see two booster clubs come together to support one common goal – supporting all of the students and music of the Fort Mill School District through the two high school bands - Nation Ford HS and Fort Mill HS. It is this type of teaming and support of each other that help enable our students the opportunity to achieve their goals and will help set our band programs apart from the rest. 

A special thanks to Julia Harris (FMHS) and Jamie Medlin (NFHS) for co-chairing not only this past weekend’s event but the previous weekend’s event as well. They represented the interests of both schools for these past two fundraising events that benefit both band programs equally!!! 

For folks that couldn’t help us this past weekend, we hope you can come out and support your student, the band program and the community at a future event or by volunteering your time to another committee that could still use assistance.
