Verizon Update - Only 4 Concerts Remain!!!

HELP!!! – Yes, it is a busy time of the year with work, school starting, family, etc. and everyone is tired after almost 20 concerts but in order to fulfill our contractual obligations at Verizon, we still need your help over the final 4 concerts of the year. It has been a fantastic year so far at Verizon and the band programs can’t afford to lose any fundraising revenue streams this year or in future years if we can’t fulfill our obligation at the events – and no one wants fees to increase caused by the loss of raising money at Verizon.

With that said, we are in need for assistance anyone can offer at the next two concerts. We are extremely short (only 5 people) for Tuesday, August 28th for the OzzFest concert. It is an all day concert so if you can spare a few hours, please let our chairpersons know. Shifts are available so if you can come out during the day (11-3 or 4) or if you can come out after work (5 until closing), please volunteer – and bring a friend. Please take a moment and find a way to help support the Verizon events. Car pools are available. Please contact Julia Harris (803-548-2178) and/or Julianne Best to volunteer.

Again, thanks to the 90 people or 48 band families that have assisted at Verizon this year that benefits every student and family of the band program. The students appreciate your time and efforts that provide the opportunities for them to succeed with what they are passionate about.
